As the nation's largest federal provider of outdoor and water-based recreation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites you and your family to have a safe and enjoyable visit to one of the Corps' more than 400 lakes and more than 2,400 recreation sites nationwide. During your visit to these sites or the thousands of other federal lands and waters, we encourage you and your loved ones to always wear a properly fitted life jacket when boating or playing on or near the water. We need your help to reduce the number of water-related injuries and deaths. Visitor safety is the Corps' number one priority. We actively promote water and boater safety and education programs. Description

Bald Ridge Creek Campground is located on Lake Sidney Lanier. Lake Lanier touches five counties in Georgia and is just 45 minutes from Atlanta. The lake covers 38,000 acres that were once rolling farmland. The lake provides outdoor recreational opportunities to fish, camp, boat, picnic or sightsee. Bald Ridge Creek Campground offers 82 sites with electric and water hookups. Additional amenities include a dump station, laundry facilities, restrooms with hot showers, a boat ramp, and a swimming beach.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 1 day in advance.
This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends.
This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends.
The campground is open March - October and sites range from $25 -$27 dollars .
Attendants are scheduled 7:00am-10:30pm and the campground telephone number is 770-889-1591.
Check-in time is 4pm and checkout time is 3pm.
Park gates are locked from 10:30pm until 7am.
1-3 vehicles per site with 3 vehicles maximum allowed in campground including visitors.
Primary occupants must occupy campsites overnight. Renting a site for the purpose of day use or parking is prohibited.
8 person maximum per site including visitors.
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited at all Corps parks on Lake Lanier.

From Atlanta, GA, take SR 400 N to Exit 16, turn right on Pilgrim Mill Rd, turn right on Sinclair Shoals Rd., turn left on Bald Ridge Rd. Follow into campground.
