You are about to make a reservation for a DISABLED ACCESS SITE IN CALIFORNIA. Visitors reserving accessible campsites must possess a DMV Disabled Placard or license plates issued by DMV (or similar agency of another state). A Disabled Veterans license plate will also be accepted when reserving or occupying an accessible campsite. At the time of check-in, visitors must show the DMV placard. The disabled visitor must be an occupant of the site for the entire reservation period. No refunds will be issued for invalid reservations.
Vern Whitaker Horse Camp is for horse camping and day use only. The campsite fee includes up to 8 people maximum, 2 horses, one motorized vehicle and one trailer. Anything more is considered additional. Additional fees: 2 additional horses are allowed at an additional charge, per horse per night, for a maximum of 4 horses per campsite. If you wish to have a second motor vehicle stay with you in the campground, there is an extra vehicle charge (truck pulling trailer is considered one motorized vehicle). There is a day use fee for motorized vehicles (truck pulling trailer is considered one motorized vehicle). Additional fees will be collected at the campground. Vern Whitaker Horse Camp has 10 campsites. Each campsite has a barbecue, fire ring, picnic table, and 4 corrals. There are restrooms with flush toilets and a shower. Bring your own bucket and hose for watering your horse.
