Puma Point Group Camp (minimum size 11, maximum site capacity 50) is located within the campground in Anthony Chabot Regional Park. The site has five 10-ft. and one ADA-accessible picnic tables, three smaller tables, an extra-large BBQ, a fire ring, 2 drinking fountains (one with spigot), and two chemical toilets (one ADA-accessible). No tents are allowed on the small lawn area, as it is irrigated. Showers are available in the campground.
Overnight parking passes are REQUIRED; 10 passes will be mailed 5 days prior to reservation. Parking capacity is set; no other parking is available. Double-parking and parking inside the gate is never allowed.
Puma Point is accessed through Marciel Gate, which is locked daily; NO ENTRANCE IS ALLOWED AFTER 10:00pm until the gate is unlocked the next morning. You may leave the park at anytime.

Thank you for enjoying your East Bay Regional Parks! You are responsible for making sure your entire group observes this contract, all posted signs, and applicable laws including Ordinance 38. Carry this contract with you while in the park. Failure to follow rules may result in removal from the park and/or financial liability for you or your organization. CHECK-IN: 2 p.m. - reserve the night before if you need to check-in earlier
CHECK-OUT: 12:00 noon - no exceptions
QUIET HOURS: 10 p.m. - 7 a.m.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY: call 911 from a pay phone, or (510) 881-1121 on a cell phone. Cell phone reception may be spotty inside parks. Pay phones are located in the Anthony Chabot Family Campground. During your stay, you may reach the staff at the campground at 510-690-6677.
VEHICLES: Follow all rules and posted signs; vehicles in violation may be cited and/or towed. Vehicle access is permitted only with a valid overnight parking pass. Vehicles must park in permitted area(s). Except in case of emergency, vehicle access is limited to one group trip in and one group trip out: shuttling campers and/or equipment is strictly prohibited. Carpooling is strongly advised. Parking passes are included in the reservation fee and are issued based on the capacity of the site. Additional passes are NOT available for purchase. Parking passes are mailed 5 - 10 days before the reservation starts. HIKE-IN sites have no parking passes.
GROUP CAMP GATES MUST REMAIN CLOSED AND LOCKED AT ALL TIMES. The lock combination will be mailed 5 - 1O days before the reservation starts.
PARK ENTRANCE GATES will be locked each evening at the hours posted at the gate, or where no hours are posted, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Attempting to circumvent blocked access, exit spikes and/or locked park gates is prohibited.
PUBLIC SCHOOLS must send a letter on the school's official letterhead, listing the campout dates, campsite name(s), the name of the adult in charge during the trip, and the number of youth and adults that will use the site.
PAYMENT IN FULL is due at the time the reservation is made: call the Reservations Department, M-F, 1-888-327-2757, option 2 with a Visa or MasterCard. Credit card charges are processed immediately and will appear on your statement as 'EB Parks - Oakland'. Checks must be pre-printed with account information and will be accepted up to 15 days in advance of your reservation. Cash is only accepted in person at the Reservations office; DO NOT MAIL CASH. If you come in person to the Reservation Office during office hours to pick up the parking passes and permit(s) and pay by Visa/MasterCard/cash, you may make a reservation 3 working days prior.
