Phillips Municipal Golf Course has a long history of providing an incredible golf experience to the golfers of the Texas Panhandle. Built in 1941 by Phillips Petroluem Company, the golf course was operated by Phillips employees for fifty years. Over that time the golf course matured and played host to many local tournaments and corporate outings. In 1991, the City of Borger took ownership of the property.
