Yellowstone Lake State Park will be closed from December 1, 2009 through January 3, 2010.

Firewood Notice: Firewood is not allowed on Wisconsin State Park or Forest properties from out of state or from more than fifty miles away from the property you are going to. Also, firewood that has been in the Wisconsin Emerald Ash Borer quarantined area http://www.emeraldashborer.wi.gov/pdf/Wisconsin Emerald Ash Borer quarantined area.pdf is not allowed on properties outside of the quarantined area. Please buy firewood nearby or at the property you are going to. Call the DNR toll-free Firewood Hotline 1-877-303-WOOD (9663) for information before packing up for a trip.

Most of Yellowstone Lake State Park is open to deer hunting.
The 2008 season dates are:

Gun Season: October 16-19 (hunting ends at noon each day); November 22-30 and December 11-14
Archery Season: November 22-January 4, 2009
Muzzleloader Season: December 1-10
The entire campground will be closed from November 30-April 1, 2009

Reservations from May 1st until October 31st.

Flush Toilet/Shower building is open from 05/01 through 10/31 (weather permitting).

All campsites are located on the top of the Hill.

Yellowstone Lake has no restrictions on types of motors allowed on the lake. The private concessionaires that run the boat rental and the Dairy Bar Restaurant are open Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Park admission stickers are REQUIRED on all vehicles using the park and must be properly attached, this is an additional fee that is not included in your campsite reservation. Click here for cost of the sticker.Park admission stickers can be purchased upon your arrival at the park.

Reservations cannot be cancelled online.
