Description

Entrance fee:
$5 per day, per person 13 and older.
$3 per day, per person Texas residents 65 on 9/1/95 or after.
Entrance fees are in addition to campsite or day use facility fees.
An excess vehicle fee will be charged for all vehicles over the limit of per site.
Office Closes: Mar-Oct: Fri: 9p, Sat-Thu:5p, Nov-Feb:Everyday at 5p.

Alerts and Important Information

Boat ramp is closed due to low water levels until further notice.

Gate is open from 8a to 10p. If you will be a late arrival, you must call the park prior to 5pm on arrival date for late arrival instructions.

CHECK IN: All campers are required to check in at the park headquarters before occupying a site.

PAYMENT: You may pay by cash, check (with valid drivers license), travelers check or credit card (Discover, MasterCard or Visa).

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Public consumption or display of an open container of an alcoholic beverage is prohibited.

PETS: Pets must be attended and on a six-foot leash at all times. Pets are not allowed in any park buildings, cabins, or shelters.

FIREWOOD: Gathering of firewood is prohibited.

CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS: Any changes made to reservations may be calculated at new rates, and will be charged an administrative fee.
Check-in and check-out times subject to change without notice.

CONFIRMED RESERVATION: If your reservation is confirmed, your site will be held on the day of arrival no matter what time you arrive at the park You do not need to call the park. If you do not show up by 9am the following morning, your site will be released and reservations cancelled.

Additional charges may be incurred at the park for entrance fees and other use fees.

REFUND POLICY: The majority of sites - if you cancel and/or make changes more than 2 days prior to arrival, you will receive a full refund minus a $5 admin fee per site plus any reservation fees. Within 48 hours prior to arrival or if you do not go to the park, you will lose the first nights payment.
Group Sites of $100 or more per day - If you cancel and/or make changes more than 60 days prior to arrival, you will receive a full refund minus a $25 admin fee per site plus any reservation fees. Within 60 days prior arrival, you will lose the first nights payment. If you do not go to the park, no refund is given. To cancel a reservation, contact Customer Service at (512) 389-8900, 7 days a week.

Take Hwy 22 West through Meridian for 3 miles to the Park. OR Hwy 67 South to Cleburne. Take Hwy 174 South to Meridian. Take Hwy 22 West for 3 miles to the park From Austin: Take I 35 North to Waco. Take Hwy 6 North to Meridian. Take Hwy 22 West for 3 miles to the Park.
