Description
Located in the heart of the Grand Strand, Myrtle Beach State Park is one of the most popular public beaches along South Carolina's coast. The park includes a campground, cabins, nearly a mile of beach, picnic areas, a fishing pier and a nature center. This park is a "DiscoverCarolina Site", which provides curriculum-based science education programs for South Carolina school children.

Alerts and Important Information
Park hours are from 6 am - 10 pm March 1 through November 30. Hours are from 6 am - 8 pm December 1 through February 28. Cabin guest arriving after 5PM should call the park office to make arrangements. Campers check-in at the campground store. The campground is located approximately 300 yards from the beach. All sites are convenient to hot showers, restrooms and laundromat facilities. Pets are not allowed in the apartments, cabins or the cabin areas. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Please contact the park to reserve ADA (Disabled Access) Standard and Full Service sites. PETS and BICYCLES are NOT ALLOWED on the beach 8AM through 5PM MAY 15 through SEPTEMBER 15. Campers arriving after park hours should call the park office ahead of time to obtain gate combination.
