Alerts and Important InformationWinter snowfall and spring rainfall have a significant effect on the water level in Bonny Lake. The North Cove boat ramp is currently dry and North Cove Campground is approximately 1/3 of a mile to the closest shoreline. The Marina Jetty which encloses the boat slips and gasoline dock is also dry. For current park conditions visit state parks website at www.parks.state.co.us or call the park at 970-354-7306. Getting There:Bonny30010 COUNTY RD. 3 Idalia CO 80735 From Denver: Take I-70 east to Burlington, then 23 miles north on U.S. 385. Turn east on County Road 2 (3 1/2 miles to entrance) or 3 (1 1/2 miles to entrance). OR Take I-70 east to Byers, then east on U.S. 36 (approximately 108 miles) to Idalia. Continue east two miles on U.S. 36, then turn south on U.S. 385 for 6 or 7 miles to County Road 2 or 3.
