Discount Pass must be presented at the time of check in.

Your DMV Disabled Placard/License Plate does not automatically give you a discount on your campsite. You will need to obtain a CA State park-issued Disabled Discount Pass (DDP) or Distinguished Veterans Pass (DVP).

Due to the threat of the Goldspotted Oak Borer spreading throughout San Diego County, no oak firewood will be allowed into Mount San Jacinto State Park (Idyllwild/Stone Creek). Wood can be purchased at the park or you can bring other species of firewood, such as pine or eucalyptus. For more information, contact park staff at (951) 659-2607.

No group camping allowed. Only 8 people, including children, will be allowed per site at any given time. This will be strictly enforced. Failure to comply with park rules may result in eviction from campground.

Group camping is available at Silverwood Lake & Lake Perris in the Inland Empire District.

• Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park.
• STONE CREEK and IDYLLWILD are separate campgrounds six miles apart.
• Idyllwild Campground is open (Sites 1, 16-33) and on reservations Year Round with a closure Tuesday thru Thursday from October 1 - May 1. The only exception will be the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day. Sites 3-15 are on reservations April 1 - December 2 with a closure Tuesday thru Thursday from April 1 - May 1 and October 1 - December 2; closed when not on reservations.
• Stone Creek Camping: Sites 1-4 and 24-50 are reservable from mid-May thru the first of November. First come - first served camping available based on weather (snow) conditions. Call (951) 659-2607 for updated information. Sites 5-23 are reservable from mid-May thru mid-September; then these sites are closed.
• - Idyllwild: Pay showers available at Idyllwild campground as of May 1, 2010. You will need to purchase tokens at the Ranger Station.
• - Stone Creek: Pay showers available at Idyllwild campground.

Driving directions for Idyllwild Campground: (25905 Hwy 243, Idyllwild CA 92549) From I-10E exit 8th St. in Banning, California, turn right onto 8th St. then left on Lincoln St, then right on San Gorgonio Ave/Highway 243. From I-10W exit Hargrove St, turn left onto Hargrove St, then right on Lincoln St. then left on San Gorgonio Ave/Highway 243. Go South on 243 for approximately 26 miles. Turn right (west) into the campground entrance. The park is accessible via Highway 243 from Idyllwild.

Driving directions for Stone Creek Campground: From I-10E exit 8th St. in Banning, California, turn right onto 8th St. then left on Lincoln St, then right on San Gorgonio Ave/Highway 243. From I-10W exit Hargrove St, turn left onto Hargrove St, then right on Lincoln St. then left on San Gorgonio Ave/Highway 243. Go South on 243 for approximately 20 miles just past the Alandale Fire Station. Go east (left) at Azalea Trails Rd (Stone Creek Campground Road) for 1/4 mile. The park is accessible via Highway 243 from Idyllwild.
