Description

Entrance fee:
$4 per person, per day 13 and older.
$2 per person, per day Texas residents 65 on 9/1/95 or after.
TSPP good for everyone in the vehicle, up to 15 people. Money is refunde upon check-in to the park.
No additional fee for day use activities. ie; hiking,picniking, rock climbing,etc.
Entrance fees are in addition to Campsite fees.
An excess vehicle fee will be charged for all vehicles over the limit of 2 per site.

Alerts and Important Information

This park only allows containerized fuels (gas grills, camp stoves). No wood or charcoal fires allowed.

Advanced res. must be made at least 2 days prior to arrival at the park. If the 2 day window falls on a Sat. or Sun, you'll be handled on a 1st come 1st serve basis upon ck-in at the park.
Gate locks @ 5pm. If arriving after 5pm, contact park before 5pm.
All visitors will be required to attend a brief mandatory orientation before entering.

CHECK IN: All campers are required to check in at the park headquarters before occupying a site.
PAYMENT: You may pay by cash, check (with valid drivers license), travelers check or credit card (Discover, Mastercard or Visa).
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Public consumption or display of an open container of an alcoholic beverage is prohibited.
PETS: Pets must be attended and on a six-foot leash at all times. Pets are not allowed in any park buildings, cabins, or shelters.
FIREWOOD: Gathering of firewood is prohibited.

CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS: Any changes made to reservations may be calculated at new rates, and will be charged an administrative fee.
Check-in and check-out times subject to change without notice.
CONFIRMED RESERVATION: If your reservation is confirmed, your site Will be held on the day of arrival no matter what time you arrive at the park. You do not need to call the park. If you do not show up by 9am the following morning, your site will be released and reservations cancelled.
Additional charges may be incurred at the park for entrance fees and other use fees.
REFUND POLICY: Reservations less than $100 - if you cancel and/or make changes more than 2 days prior to arrival, you will receive a full refund minus a $5 admin fee per site plus any reservation fees. Within 48 hours prior to arrival or if you do not go to the park, you will lose the first nights payment.
Reservations $100 or more - If you cancel and/or make changes more than 60 days prior to arrival, you will receive a full refund minus a $25 admin fee per site plus any reservation fees. Within 60 days prior arrival, you will lose the first nights payment. If you do not go to the park, no refund is given. To cancel a reservation, contact Customer Service at (512) 389-8900, 7 days a week. There is no charge for adding dates within the same park or for changing parks due to EXTREME weather conditions.

From El Paso: Take Hwy 62/180 (Carlsbad Hwy, Montana Ave) East for 24 miles. Turn North on RR 2775 (at the Flying saucer shaped bldg). Stay on RR 2775 to the Park Headquarters. There are signs showing where to turn onto RR 2775 from Hwy 62/180.
From Houston: Take I 10 West to Van Horn. Take Hwy 54 North to Hwy 62\18 Turn West to RR 2775. Turn North (at the Flying Saucer shaped bldg. on RR 2775. Stay on RR 2775 to the Park Headquarters. There are signs showing where to turn onto RR 2775 from Hwy 62\180.
