DescriptionThis park is closed on Dec 24 and 25. Charles Towne Landing is the birthplace and original settlement site of the city of Charleston and South Carolina. Visitors can learn more about the site's history by visiting the park's unique attractions, including the ADVENTURE, a reproduction of a 17th-century coastal trading vessel, and the Animal Forest, a natural habitat zoo that displays animals indigenous to Carolina in 1670.Services & Amenities:
Alerts and Important InformationPets are not allowed in the Animal Forest or on the Adventure. However, pets are allowed in most other outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
