Description
Located in the Piedmont, this 365 acre memorial park offers recreational and educational activities. Foremost is the nationally significant story of the 7th President of the US, Andrew Jackson, living within the park boundaries for his first 17 years. Highlights are a museum featuring Jackson & the Back Country, a replica school house, and a Huntington statue "Boy of the Waxhaws"

Alerts and Important Information
Check in time is 2 PM until 9PM (DST), 2 PM until 6PM (EST). Check out time is 12 Noon. Campers arriving after-hours should notify park staff for gate requirements. No one under age 18 may register or reserve a campsite. Alcoholic beverages prohibited. Pets must remain leashed at all times. Quiet hours from 10PM - 7AM. Please contact the park to reserve ADA (Disabled Access) Standard and Full Service sites.
Community Building is called Meeting House, wedding chapel by customers.

Andrew Jackson State Park is located 9 miles north of Lancaster SC on US Hwy 521. It can be reached from I-77 by taking exit 77, traveling 12 miles on SC Hwy 5. Or it can be reached from 1-485 by taking the Johnston Road exit and traveling 18 miles south on US Hwy 521.
