Description

Keuka Lake State Park, located in the heart of wine country, has a gentle charm, offering views of vineyard-covered slopes, glimmering water, and clear blue sky. The park's camping areas have 150 tent and trailer sites. A swimming beach, picnic shelter, boat launch ramp, docking space, and hiking trails open several recreational avenues to visitors. The park has access to both the Keuka and Seneca Lake Winery trails, which feature many special events and wine tastings.

Keuka Lake State Park is located on Keuka Lake in New York's wine region.

Recreation:

Boating, fishing, hiking, hunting, winter snowmobiling, and winter cross-country skiing are favorite activities here.

Facilities:

The park has boat a marina for launching and docking boats. Handicapped-accessible campsites with showers and dumping stations, as well as picnic sites with pavilions, tables, and a playground, are available.

Alerts and Important Information

To insure fairness for all NY customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 9-month Maximum Window can not be changed or canceled until 18 days after the reservation was made.

  • Pet owners must show a current rabies certificate upon registration. Pets must be on a leash and tended to at all times.
  • Visitors must pay vehicle entrance fees and leave the park by 10 p.m. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
  • If you are arriving after 9 p.m. please call the park at (315) 536-3666. Failure to notify may result in losing your reservation and fees.
  • Campfires are allowed but must be tended to at all times.
  • Campsites are spacious, level & grassy, with a picnic table & fire ring with a grill cover. Sites offer a variety of sun and shade. Tree and shrub plantings offer some privacy for between sites.
  • No sites are on the lake front.
  • Water is a shared hook-up. There is one spigot for every 4 campsites. Campers can hook-up, get the water needed and unhook for the next camper. There are also potable water spigots at either end of the dump station.
  • Each camping loop has a comfort station with flushing toilets, mirrors, sinks and showers with hot and cold running water, and electrical outlets
  • The beach is connected to the camping loops by paved roadway (1 mi.) or pedestrian hiking trail (.5 mi.)

    This park is often confused with Cayuga Lake State Park in Seneca Falls.

    Peak season: A person may be the primary site occupant for 14 total days of camping within a 16 day period. S/he must leave the park for 48 hours once they have stayed the maximum number of days allowed before beginning a new reservation.
