DescriptionCanoe Point State Park is only reachable by boat, offering a quiet camping experience in a wooded area with plenty of dock space available. Just south of the camping area is the appropriately named Picnic Point, a picnic ground with a beautiful picnic gazebo, shore dinner cooking facility, and dockage. The fishing in the area is excellent, drawing anglers from miles around.Geography:Canoe Point State Park is located on the northeast end of Grindstone Island, facing Eel Bay and the Canadian Channel. Recreation:Fishing, hiking, boating, and hunting are the park's main activities. Facilities:The park has cabins, campsites, a nature trail, a picnic area with tables and pavilions, and showers. Nearby Attractions:Several state parks are nearby, including Cedar Island State Park, Grass Point State Park, Dewolf Point State Park, Wellesley Island State Park, and Mary Island State Park.
