CUYAMACA RANCHO SP, CAStatus: Open through Fri Dec 31 2010 Season Dates DescriptionSeason for Peak Fees: 05/15 to 09/15Spreading over 24,677 acres of land, Cuyamaca Rancho State Park features meadows, mountains and oak woodlands. More than half of the park is classified as "wilderness", meaning all vehicles, even bicycles, are prohibited. There are more than 100 miles of riding and hiking trails, including the Cuyamaca Peak Trail which climbs to the 6,512-foot summit with a spectacular of the Pacific, Colorado Desert, Mexico, and the Salton Sea. The park has exhibits about Native Americans, gold mining and natural history. Fishing is seasonal. Park Kiosk Hours:

Alerts and Important InformationDiscount Pass must be presented at the time of check in. Cuyamaca sites are first-come, first-served when not on reservations. Silver Strand SB is now on the reservation system. If campsites are not available at Cuyamaca for the dates of your stay please check Silver Stand's web page for available campsites; Click: HERE Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park.
