Butano State Park is a 3,200-acre redwood park in the Santa Cruz Mountains, featuring excellent hiking through the redwood groves. Only three miles from the coast, the park's trails offer views of the ocean.

Discount Pass must be presented at the time of check in.

  • Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night at the park.

  • BEN RIES campground:
    • Drive-in sites, standard and tent, reservable year round.
  • Walk-in tent sites.
    • 2009 Reservations 05/15/09 through 09/15/09.

    • 1st come / 1st served when not on reservations.

  • Parking for walk-in sites is limited to one (1) vehicle.
  • Trail Camp sites are 1st come / 1st served only. They are hike-in only.
