Windsor Crossing Park is 20 miles west of Warsaw and 18 miles east of Clinton. From Hwy 7, travel north on Hwy PP for 4 miles following the signs into recreation area.Geography: Truman Lake, forested with rocky hills and rock bluffs extending into the lake. Recreation: The Windsor Crossing area is an excellent fishing location. Popular activities include fishing, camping, hunting, swimming, and boating. There are whitetail deer and turkey and other animals and birds that live in and around the Windsor Crossing area including raccoons, skunks, squirrels, turkey vultures, hummingbirds, hawks, and ospreys. Alerts and Important Information14-Day Camping Policy: Camping is limited to 14 days in a 30 day period. Once the camper has completed 14 consecutive camping days they must leave the park or the camp-loop for a period of 24-hours. After 24-hours they may return to the park to camp. At no time will exceptions be allowed to the above limits because a camper uses different names or separate reservations in attempts to circumvent the above limits. A separate party may not register for the campsite if the existing camping unit remains for the purpose of circumventing length of stay limits.
