COUNCIL BLUFF REC. AREA (MO), MODescriptionWooded campsites. You can hike or drive to the lake. No electricity available. Reservations for Council Bluff Recreation Area should be made under this park code. This includes Chapel Hill beach Pavilion and Wild Boar Campground.$3/vehicle/$12/bus/day parking fee, payable upon entering day use area, for all vehicles not registered in campground or displaying the seasonal parking pass. No off-highway vehicles or horses permitted in developed recreation area. 12 mile hiking and biking trail around lake. Pay showers available at the beach. Alerts and Important Information3 Days minimum during holidays. Boating: A "no wake policy is in effect. There are two boat launches on the lake. Wild Boar Hollow Launch is accessible from Hwy DD has a paved circle drive, an 18-foot wide concrete ramp, and a 60-foot courtesy dock. There is also an adjacent 30-foot fully accessible fishing pier. There is a $3 charge for launching, fishing or picnicking. Enough Boat Launch is a gravel ramp accessible from Hwy 32 via Iron Co. Road 16 and is free of charge. Canoes and paddle boats are available for rent at Chapel Hill Beach from just before Memorial Day to just after Labor Day.
