WHITE BRIDGE (UT), UTDescriptionWhite Bridge campground is located 12 miles southwest of Panguitch, Utah, or 55 miles northeast of Cedar City. Popular attractions nearby include Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, and Cedar Breaks National Monument. Excellent Biking, hiking, boating and ATVing opportunities are available for recreation. The Cedar City Ranger District will TRY to have the White Bridge campground open for walk-in (first-come, first-serve) camping by May 14 2008 and close by September 21, 2008, depending on the weather conditions. Summer season reservations open and close by June 9, 2008 and September 1, 2008, respectively. The campground will remain open for dry camping (vault toilet, no water) until the snow falls. Campground is in an area forested with cotton wood, pinion, and juniper trees situated along a fishable stream. It is also a 6 mile distance from Panguitch Lake. Commercial boat rental and launching facilities are available around Panguitch Lake. Public boat ramp and parking are available at the south shore and at Wildlife Point. The docks at Panguitch Lake can only handle fishing or pontoon boats, nothing larger. Food services, lodging, showers, groceries, gasoline, and boat rentals are available at the various commercial facilities surrounding Panguitch Lake. Facilities:
Parking Fees: For single units, the first vehicle is free & the second vehicle is half the single unit fee, for double units, the first two vehicles are free, subsequent vehicles are half the single unit fee, per vehicle. Services & Amenities:
Alerts and Important InformationReservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. ATV POLICY: ATV's may be hauled into and out of the campground. If you have questions concerning the ATV policy, call the Cedar City Ranger district at 435-865-3200. Markagunt ATV Trail System: (Covers the entire Cedar City Ranger District Area) The Markagunt ATV Trail System map shows the designated trails that ATV's (defined above) may access on the Cedar City Ranger District. The Cedar City Ranger District strongly suggests that this map be used if any motorized recreation is done on the Cedar City Ranger District.
