Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends and a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. Maximum 2 vehicles per site. No refunds are given for BAD WEATHER. This campground has first-come, first-served sites. No off road vehicle trails in the area. No OHVS allowed in the campground. Firewood sold at campground. Occupy site within 24 hours or forfeit. Water spigots are at central locations throughout campground.
Due to the pine beetle infestation and removal of hazard trees, there is little or no shade in the campground.

From Idaho Springs, take Highway 103 for 6.5 miles and turn right on southwest Forest Service Road 188 (West Chicago Creek Road). Go 3 miles to campground.
