WASHINGTON IRVING S (OK), OKDescriptionWashington Irving South is located on the Arkansas arm of Keystone Lake. Local history has Washington Irving crossing the Arkansas River in this area during his expeditions west. The campsites are well shaded with abundant opportunities for fishing. Within the park there is a nature trail that is about 1 mile in length for your hiking pleasure. The campground is separated into 3 camping loops with a total of 41 campsites, many with water and electric hookups. The park has a dump stations, playground, boat ramp, and new shower bathroom facilities as well as pit restrooms. There is a designated alcohol free swimming area. Services & Amenities:
Alerts and Important InformationReservations must be made at least 2 days in advance for camping sites, and 1 day in advance for group sites. Reservations are honored at the campground from April 1 thru September 15, and the campground is open on a first come, first-served basis during April and from September 15 thru October 31. This campground has first come, first serve sites and are as follows: 01, 02, 03, 12, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 & 35.
