Description

Waitsboro Campground is located off of Highway 27, north of Burnside. The campground provides 19 RV sites and 4 tent only sites. Eight of these sites are waterfront, making them prime locations for weekend recreation. Waitsboro has a day use area, picnic sites and a parking lot containing 33 parking spots to accommodate trailers.

Alerts and Important Information

NO SHOW: If a camper is running late or needs to do next day arrival please call the campground at 606/561-5513 and let the park attendant know. Failure to do so will result in a No Show status and the campsite may be re-opened for reservations.

This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends and a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends.

No unlicensed motorized vehicles (ATVs, Scooters, Golf Carts, etc.) are allowed to be operated in or on public property including campground.

A visitor fee of $3.00 per vehicle applies at this campground. Visitors must park at the campsite if space is available or provided parking lots.

Each site is limited to 6 people and two vehicles. A campsite may have two camping units. All vehicles and camping equipment must fit on the designated site pad.

Quiet hours are in effect from 10pm to 6am.

Pets must be on a leash and controlled at all times.

Firewood Quarantine: To protect our forest; NO FIREWOOD transported from out of state is allowed.
