WASHUNGA BAY (OK), OKDescriptionWashunga Bay Campground is located on Kaw Lake in north central Oklahoma, about 8 miles east of Ponca City on the Arkansas River. Camping, fishing, boating, and hiking are favorite pastimes. There are 9 public use areas and 2 lake access points located around the lake for visitors to enjoy. Campers can select from over 300 family campsites. The lake and river are known for producing some of Oklahoma's largest catfish, and offering anglers excellent opportunities to catch crappie, sand (white) bass, and walleye. 10 boat ramps offer easy access to the lake. Hikers and horseback riders are attracted to the beautiful trails along the eastern shore. The Eagle View Hiking Trail is approximately 12 miles long and runs between Osage Cove and Burbank Landing. The Five Fingers Equestrian Trail extends from Burbank Landing to the Sarge Creek Cove Public Use Area. With an abundance of outdoor recreational opportunities, Kaw Lake has something for everyone.Services & Amenities:
