As the nation's largest federal provider of outdoor and water-based recreation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites you and your family to have a safe and enjoyable visit to one of the Corps' more than 400 lakes and more than 2,400 recreation sites nationwide. During your visit to these sites or the thousands of other federal lands and waters, we encourage you and your loved ones to always wear a properly fitted life jacket when boating or playing on or near the water. We need your help to reduce the number of water-related injuries and deaths. Visitor safety is the Corps' number one priority. We actively promote water and boater safety and education programs. TWILTLEY BRANCH (MS), MS

Description

The Twiltley Branch Campground is located on Okatibbee Lake in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. You and your family can enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, water skiing, camping, picnicking, hunting, hiking, sightseeing, bird watching or nature photography. Twiltley Branch Campground offers 50 sites with electric and water hookups, 11 sites with water hookups, and 3 group camping areas. Additional amenities include hot showers, laundry facilities, a boat ramp, playground, a pay phone, and a dump station. Campground opens at 6:00 AM and closes at 10:00 PM Gateattendants are on duty to let people out in case of emergencies. Security is provided by Corps Rangers, Lauderdale county Deputies, and contract Park Attendants. Patrols are made on a varied schedule.

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends.
