FIREWOOD ALERT!: Leave Your Firewood At Home! We need your help to protect our forests! A firewood quarantine has been established for much of the state of Virginia. In general, firewood can harbor insect pests under the bark and in the wood. The transport of infested firewood has been identified as a leading cause in the introduction of harmful forest insects into un-infested forest areas. The best way to prevent a new infestation of these invasive pests is to get your firewood AFTER arrival. Help us keep our parks pest free by leaving your firewood at home!

TWIN LAKES (SC), SC

Description

Twin Lake is one of the most popular campgrounds on Hartwell Lake. The campground is located at the northern end of the lake in SC only 5 miles from Clemson University. The campground offers 102 campsites, 89 of the 102 are waterfront. The 102 sites offer 50 amp electrical hookups and water. The following amenities are also available: dump station, play grounds, swim beach.

Alerts and Important Information

Single family rates range from $20-22 and double sites are $46.00.
Golf Carts, ATV's, and motorized scooters are prohibited All sites are limited to ten persons and are limited to one RV, tents limited to impact pad capacity. We require that all pets must be penned, caged, or on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Alcohol is prohibited.

  • The campground gate opens at 7:00 am and closes at 10:00 pm.
  • There is a limit of 1 wheeled camper per site.
  • Tents are limited to the impact pad capacity.
  • *Same day reservations are allowed*
  • No alcohol.
  • Campers must occupy the site each night it is rented

From Interstate 85 SC, take exit 14, Hwy 187, going north on towards Pendleton, SC. Immediately after passing Clemson Research Center, turn left on Fants Grove Road. Follow directional signs to the park.
