As the nation's largest federal provider of outdoor and water-based recreation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites you and your family to have a safe and enjoyable visit to one of the Corps' more than 400 lakes and more than 2,400 recreation sites nationwide. During your visit to these sites or the thousands of other federal lands and waters, we encourage you and your loved ones to always wear a properly fitted life jacket when boating or playing on or near the water. We need your help to reduce the number of water-related injuries and deaths. Visitor safety is the Corps' number one priority. We actively promote water and boater safety and education programs. TURKEY CREEK (OK), OKDescriptionDue to the severe damage caused by the early season floods Turkey Creek will be closed, sites maybe be reopened on an individual basis. You may contact the campground at (580) 876-3720 for the latest information or check back later for availability. Turkey Creek Park is located on the western shore of Pine Creek Lake just below the location where Little River runs into the lake itself. Visitors enjoy such activities as camping, fishing, boating and picnicking. Turkey Creek Park has 34 campsites with 10 having electrical and water hookups. Water is available at all electrical sites with an additional faucet located in the middle of the park. The area also has a group shelter but it does not have electrical hookups.
