TROUBLESOME (WA), WADescriptionTroublesome Campground is closed for the 2007 camping season.Flooding in early November caused extensive damage to the camp ground and eight major washouts on the Index/Galena road. Located approximately twenty miles east of Index, Washington, adjacent to the North Fork Skykomish River. Restrooms are provided. Firewood may be available for sale at the campground. Alerts and Important InformationReservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.* 2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holidays. Maximum 2 vehicles per site. A fee of $7 for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground. Getting There:Troublesome (WA)MT. BAKER-SNOQUALMIE WA GPS Info. (Latitude, Longitude): 47.89778, -121.4025 From Everett, WA, take State Highway 2 toward Monroe WA. From Monroe, go east about 20 miles to Index, WA.
