During your visit to these sites or the thousands of other federal lands and waters, we encourage you and your loved ones to always wear a properly fitted life jacket when boating or playing on or near the water. Drain all water from equipment - Discard live bait before leaving - To kill Zebra Mussels, dry equipment for five days or wash with high pressure hot water THIBAUT POINT (MO), MODescriptionThibaut Point Park is located at Harry S. Truman Lake. The park is forested with rocky hills and rock bluffs extending into the lake. The Thibaut Point area is an excellent fishing location. In addition to the campsites, three group camps and two day-use group shelters may be reserved. Popular activities include fishing, hunting, swimming, and boating. There are whitetail deer and turkey and other animals and birds that live in and around the Thibaut Point area including raccoons, skunks, squirrels, turkey vultures, hummingbirds, hawks, ospreys.
