Description

Tahkenitch Campground is located on the Oregon Dunes 7 miles north of Reedsport on Highway 101. Tahkenitch is a beautiful campground with some very secluded sites with local coastal shrubbery and some sites that are more open. A day use area is adjacent to the campground with hiking trails that go to Three Mile Lake and around the dunes. This is a great hike for those who like to hike or spend time letting the kids play in the sand. Across the campground is Tahkenitch Lake which is great for fishing, boating and swimming.
