Description

Located adjacent to Trinity Lake. Facilities provided include flush toilets, paved spurs and a boat ramp. Popular activities include water skiing, fishing, boating, hiking and swimming. Bicycles and vehicles on pavement only. There are amphitheater programs and junior ranger programs offered weekly. Bicycles and vehicles on pavement only. Tow and towed vehicle equal 1 vehicle.

Alerts and Important Information

There is a new reservation window in place for 6 months.
Sites are temporarily not available because of the six month window, but will be available when it is within six months of the desired reservation.
Reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 night minimum stay on holiday weekends. A fee of $5 for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground. Although two vehicles are allowed in a Family Single Capacity site, only one vehicle is included in the price of a Family Single Capacity site.
Although four vehicles are allowed in a Family Double Capacity site, only two vehicles are included in the price of a Family Double Capacity site.

CAUTION: Bears frequent the area. All food must be kept in approved containers. *loop D opens May 1, all other loops open May 24.*

Take I-5 to Redding, take 299 west to Weaverville, take a right on Highway 3 and go about 11 miles, the campground sign is on the left, but turn right to enter the campground. Take 101 to Eureka, take 299 east to Weaverville, take a left on Highway 3 and go about 11 miles, campground is on left, but turn right to enter campground.
