Description

Sweetwater Campground is located along Chiquito Creek in the Sierra National Forest. The campground is a small ingle loop great for pop-tent trailers, slide-ins and tent campers. An unnamed brook and Chiquito Creek frame the campground. Good fishing ands swimming holes are the main attraction for this campground.

Alerts and Important Information

  • Reservations must be made at least 1 days in advance
  • 3 night minimum on holiday weekends
  • No ATV/OHV in campground
  • No refund for bad weather
  • Pets must be leashed at all times
  • Quiet hours 10PM to 6AM
  • No useage of firearms, chainsaws or fireworks in campground

From Fresno, California, take Highway 41 north, turn northeast on Forest Road 200 and pass through North Fork. Take the Minarets Road east, follow it 37 miles, turn right on Mammoth Pool Road and follow it 2 miles to the Sweetwater Campground.
