Description

Area is open with no trees. A large parking area will accommodate tractor trailer. This is a traditional campground with horse use facilities and trailhead. There are 6 4 head corrals, 2 8 head manger/feed bunks, a rider mounting ramp for persons with disabilities, Bear Lodge trails and Sundance Trail System.

Alerts and Important Information

Non-reservable sites may be available on a first come-first served basis. Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. Hay brought in must be certified weed free. Out of state horses must have Coggins test. There are no electric sites in this campground. For information about weed free certified hay please call Forest Recreation Management Inc. at (605) 574-4402. There will be a pet fee of $2.00 per pet/day,
