STONEY GROUP SHASTA-TRINITY (CA), CA

Description

This is a group campgrounds, and can handle a maximum of 60 campers. Group eating area includes barbecue and fire pits. Campground is across creek from Stoney Swim. Popular activities include hiking, fishing, swimming, boating and watersports. Boat ramp and marina are 1/2 mile away. Tables are provided at the sites plus a common eating area. It is 20 minutes to Weaverville for fuel and groceries.

Alerts and Important Information

There is a new reservation window in place for 6 months.
Sites are temporarily not available because of the six month window, but will be available when it is within six months of the desired reservation.
Reservations must be made at least 7 day in advance. This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 night minimum holiday weekend stay. Bears frequent this area. Campers should follow the rules for safe food storage.
