Description

MT. HOOD, OR, STILL CRK MOUNTAINS, AREA WITH TREES, OPEN SPACE FIREWOOD SOLD ON SITE, STAFF RESIDES ON SITE HIKING, BIKING, PICNICKING PETS ON LEASH, NO ORVS Still Creek Campground is located on the Mt Hood National Forest. This 27-site campground sits on the bank of Still Creek, and is surrounded by lush forest and many recreational opportunities. The village of Government Camp is one mile away, and Timberline Lodge, a National Historic Landmark on Mt Hood, is located within 7 miles of Still Creek Campground. It is also easy to access the historic Barlow Trail and many hiking trails from this campground. Elevations: 3700 feet. Still Creek Campground has piped water and vault toilets.

Alerts and Important Information

NO ATVS OR OHVS IN CAMPGROUND PETS MUST BE LEASHED QUIET HOURS 10PM TO 6AM 2ND VEHICLE FEE COLLECTED AT CAMPGROUND MAXIMUM 2 VEHICLES PER SITE Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. Sites listed as non reservable are first come, first served sites. The only way to reserve a site is either over the phone, calling ReserveAmerica at 1-877-444-6777 or through the internet: www.reserveusa.com. This campground has first-come, first-serve sites.

  • No ATV's or ORV's.
  • Maximum two vehicles per site.
  • Vehicles must be parked on the spur.
  • Campground must be occupied the first night.
  • Pets are allowed on leash only.
  • Quiet hours are between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.
  • No discharge of firearms or fireworks in the campground.
  • Fires in fire circles only.

Camping fee covers one vehicle in each site. A fee of 50% of the site cost for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground. An extra vehicle is considered any vehicle (motorhome, trailer or passenger vehicle) that is not legally towed in by the first vehicle.

From Portland, travel east on Highway 26 to Government Camp. The campground is located 1 mile east of Government Camp, on the south side of Hwy 26. Look for the Still Creek Campground entrance sign on the right hand-side of the highway.
