Alerts and Important InformationThe Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest (CNNF) has prohibited the possession, storage or transportation of any firewood that originates from outside the state of Wisconsin or that originates from more than 25 miles from the destination point. The exception is firewood gathered on the CNNF. This is to prevent the spread the Emerald Ash Borer and other exotic insect pests.
