FIREWOOD ALERT!: Leave Your Firewood At Home! We need your help to protect our forests! A firewood quarantine has been established for much of the state of Virginia. In general, firewood can harbor insect pests under the bark and in the wood. The transport of infested firewood has been identified as a leading cause in the introduction of harmful forest insects into un-infested forest areas. The best way to prevent a new infestation of these invasive pests is to get your firewood AFTER arrival. Help us keep our parks pest free by leaving your firewood at home!

Description

Springfield Campground is conveniently located only minutes away from Anderson, SC. The campground offers 79 campsites, 75 of the 79 are waterfront. All of the sites offer 50 amp electrical hookups and water. The following amenities are also available: dump station, play grounds, swim beach.

Single family rates are $22 and double sites are $46. The gate are open 7am-10pm. All single sites are limited to one
*Same day reservations are allowed*

RV and tents limited to impact pad capacity.
All pets must be penned, caged, or on a leash no longer than 6 feet.

  • Golf Carts, ATV's, and motorized scooters are prohibited
  • Alcohol is prohibited
  • The campground gate opens at 7:00 am and closes at 10:00 pm.
  • Maximum camping units per site:1 wheeled camping unit and tents are limited to impact pad capacity.
  • Campers must occupy the site each night it is rented

From Interstate 85 SC take Exit #11 or #14 on Hwy 187. Turn at Providence Church Road (Directional signs will lead you directly to the park entrance from Hwy 187.) From Interstate 85 SC, take exit #14. Take 187 south until you reach Providence Church Road. From Hartwell, Georgia, take Hwy 29 north to 187 north. Follow 187 north until you reach Providence Church Road.
