Drain all water from equipment - Discard live bait before leaving - To kill Zebra Mussels, dry equipment for five days or wash with high pressure hot water SPARROWFOOT (MO), MODescriptionSparrowfoot Park is located at Harry S. Truman Lake in a mixed forest and grassland area with some rocky bluffs extending into the lake. The area is an excellent catfish and crappie fishing location. Popular activities include fishing, hunting, camping, swimming, and boating. In addition to the 48 campsites, the park also has 3 reservable day-use group shelters. There are whitetail deer and turkey and other animals and birds that live in and around the Sparrowfoot area including raccoons, skunks, squirrels, turkey vultures, hummingbirds, hawks, and ospreys.
