As the nation's largest federal provider of outdoor and water-based recreation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites you and your family to have a safe and enjoyable visit to one of the Corps' more than 400 lakes and more than 2,400 recreation sites nationwide. During your visit to these sites or the thousands of other federal lands and waters, we encourage you and your loved ones to always wear a properly fitted life jacket when boating or playing on or near the water. SNAKE CREEK (OK), OK

Description

In Oklahoma's Green Country, Snake Creek Campground is the most popular park on Lake Tenkiller. Camping, fishing, sightseeing, scuba diving and picnicking are just a few of the activities enjoyed by visitors. There are 112 campsites, shower/toilets, swimming beaches, playgrounds, picnic shelters, and handicap accessible campsites and boat ramps.

Alerts and Important Information

Walk-in season starts on Oct 1, 2008 and ends on Dec 31, 2008. All sites affected during the season will be available as walk-ups only. Reservations must be made 2 days in advance. This campgrounds requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends and a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. The campground is open year round and the sites range from $10.00 to $18.00 per night. An attendant is on duty from April through September. The entrance gate opens at 6am and closes at 10pm.
