Description

Salt Lick Creek Campground is located on the beautiful rolling hills of Cordell Hull Lake approximately 10 miles from Gainsboro, TN. The lake itself was named for Cordell Hull, one of America's outstanding statesmen and one of Tennessee's finest volunteers born in the foothills of the Cumberland Mountains. Many visitors enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, and hiking while at Salt Lick Creek Campground. The campground offers 150 sites with water and/or electric hook ups. Additional amenities include hot showers, a dump station, a boat launch, playground, swimming area, and a picnic shelter. The campground offers 150 sites with water and electric hookups, 31 of these sites have sewer hookups.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance for family site. Reservations must be made at least 1 day in advance for group sites. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum holiday weekend stay. $1.00 extra for each weekend night ($2.00 total). $1.00 extra for each each holiday weekend night ($3.00 total).
When making multiple reservations, please inform your party of the site numbers and the name that appears on the reservation. Golden Access/Age may only be used for one site which is occupied by the cardholder.

Any vehicles that fail to meet State of Tennessee requirements for operation on State highways are not allowed to be operated in the park; including Golf Carts, Go Carts, ATVs, Scooters, etc.
There is a limit of 1 RV, trailer or other camping vehicle per site. RV campers may only have 1 tent per site while campers with no RV or other camping vehicle are limited to 2 tents per site. Tents must be placed within 30 feet of the site. More information about this area can be obtained by calling (931) 678-4718.
