As the nation's largest federal provider of outdoor and water-based recreation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites you and your family to have a safe and enjoyable visit to one of the Corps' more than 400 lakes and more than 2,400 recreation sites nationwide. During your visit to these sites or the thousands of other federal lands and waters, we encourage you and your loved ones to always wear a properly fitted life jacket when boating or playing on or near the water. RIVER ROAD L.BANK (MO), MO

Description

River Road Left Bank Campground is located on Clearwater Lake southwest of Piedmont, MO. and is an excellent location to camp, fish, boat, picnic or sight see. River Road Campground offers 97 sites with electric. Additional amenities include a dump station, hot showers, a picnic shelter, a boat ramp, a playground, public phone and 3 miles of hiking trails.


RESERVATION SEASON GENERALLY RUNS FROM MAY 15 TO SEPTEMBER 15. CAMPING OUTSIDE OF THIS PERIOD WILL BE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE ONLY.


The paved Black River Hike and Bike Trail and the Black River Watchable Wildlife Area can be accessed from the campground.


Local wildlife include wetland waterfowl, fox, deer, turkey, and geese. Average high temperatures range from 59 degrees in March to 92 degrees in July. Average lows range from 33 to 65 degrees. Located nearby is a drive-in theater and water park, and the Ozark National Scenic Riverway is 35 minutes away.

Alerts and Important Information

  • The campground is open year round and fees are charged. Sites range from $12-$20/ night.
  • Picnic shelter may be reserved for $50/day.
  • Attendants are on duty from 3pm-10pm.
  • Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.
  • This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends.
  • This campground requires a 3 night minimum stay on holidays.
  • Campsite equipment is limited to 2 tents, OR 1 tent and 1 wheeled sleeping unit. All equipment must fit on the site pad. Vehicles park in developed areas only.
  • A single standard fee is assessed to each site. Management reserves the right to limit the number of units and people allowed to occupy any site. Please ensure that you reserve enough sites to accomodate your group site.
  • Please register for the campsite during booth hours: Friday 10am - 10pm; Saturday through Tuesday 10am - 6pm; Gatehouse closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
