Description

Rayburn Park is a developed park located on the north shoreline of Sam Rayburn Reservoir. Sam Rayburn Reservoir is located in the Piney Woods of Southeast Texas, approximately 18 miles north of Jasper, Texas. The park features 46 campsites with varying connections (16 w/30 amp electric & water, 8 w/50 amp electric & water, and 22 w/o electric or water connections). Additional amenities include 4 day-use picnic sites, a boat launch, playground, hot showers, and a dump station.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 night minimum stay on holiday weekends. This campground has first come, first served sites Camping Structures are limited to 2 tents or 1 tent plus one Recreation Vehicle per site. Sites 1-10 close after the July 4th weekend, and 55-65 close after the Labor Day Weekend, and remain closed until March 1. Sites 26-50 remain open year round. Quiet hours are 10PM to 6AM. Fires must be confined in the fire rings Pets must be on a leash 6 feet or less in length If you have any questions or concerns about the status of this campground, please contact the Sam Rayburn Project Office at (409)384-5716. .An extra vehicle fee will be applied at the park to each vehicle beyond this limit. The campground is open year round and sites are $11-$18/night.
Sites 11-25 and 55-79 are closed Oct-Feb.

From Pineland, TX, take FM 83 west 10 miles, then go south on FM 705 for 11 miles to FM 3127, then west for 1.5 miles and make a left into the park entrance.
