QUINN MEADOW HORSE CAMP (OR), OR

Description

Quinn Meadow is one of the most popular horse campgrounds of the eight horse campgrounds that Hoodoo manages in the Deschutes Forest. The sites are large and there is a vast area to ride on the southwest side of Mt. Bachelor and surrounding areas. With 26 sites it is the largest horse campground Hoodoo manages and has both double and quadruple corrals. There is a site near the entry for you to dispose of your manure so that it does not have to be hauled away by you. There is a gathering Adirondack near the host site. There is a water pump with drinking water and the toilet buildings are better than most in horse campgrounds. In the past the front gate was kept locked. This will no longer be the plan. While we do recommend reservations here, there will almost always be some sites left over for those who just show up and you will be welcome if there is a site left. Payments should be made at the Iron Ranger for first come sites or extra vehicles. If we do not have sites here we will most likely have other sites nearby that we will be able to recommend.
