Potato Hills Central is located approximately 6 miles north of Clayton, OK. This campground is at an elevation of 607 feet, and is covered with post oak, blackjack oak, pine, and hardwoods. Popular activities include hiking, fishing, and a playground.

Park Open Season for camping reservations annually 1 April thru 14 Sep All sites first come first serve 15 Sep - 31 Oct annually Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. Gates are open between the hours of 6am and 10 pm.

Please do not bring firewood from home to the Huron-Manistee National Forest, National Parks, or State Forests. Do not unwittingly help spread the Emerald Ash Borer, an exotic beetle from Asia. Firewood is available at or near camping facilities. From Mcalister, Oklahoma, go south on US-69 to Indian Nations Turnpike, 4 miles. Go south on Indian Nations Turnpike to Daisy, Oklahoma, 26 miles. Go east on State Highway 43 to Sardis Lake Office, 33 miles. Go north on State Highway 2 for 2 miles.
