POINT CAMPGROUND (ID), IDDescriptionCampground open prior to and after reservation dates on a first come basis as weather permits.Located in central Idaho, approximately 6 miles south of Stanley, near Redfish Lake. Restrooms are provided. Firewood is sold at the site. Campground is located in an alpine mountain environment with average summer temperatures of 78 degrees high, and 40 degrees low. Popular events include an Arts and Crafts Fair in July, Wagon Days in September, and fireman's ball, Salmon Festival, & Quilt Fair. Services & Amenities:
Alerts and Important InformationFee includes one vehicle per site. An extra vehicle charge will be collected at the campground for the 2nd vehicle on "Family Standard Single" sites. No more than 2 vehicles allowed per single site. Irrigation starts the Monday following the 4th of July and continues every Monday until the week before Labor Day. Irrigation begins at 2:00pm on these dates. Campers must vacate the premises (with all equipment) by noon on the day of irrigation. Admission to the campground is at noon on the following morning. Sites 1-8 are WALK IN TENT ONLY Hand carts are also provided. Sites 10-17 will accept tents, trucks with campers, vans ONLY.. NO motorhomes or trailers (including pop-up tent trailers).
