PETERSON PRAIRIE GROUP CAMP (WA), WA

Description

Peterson Prairie Group Campground is nestled in large pine and fir trees. This group camp offers two group sites one will accommodate a group up to 25 people and one for a group up to 50 people. Goose Lake is 8 miles west of the campground which offers excellent fishing. Many outdoor activities in the surrounding area include hiking, biking, berry and mushroom picking when in season.

Alerts and Important Information

  • Reservations must be made 3 days in advance
  • 3 night minimum on holiday weekends
  • No ATVS or OHVS in campground
  • All vehicles park in developed areas only
  • Horses prohibited except in designated horse camps
  • Quiet hours 10pm to 6 am
  • Pets must be leashed at all times

    From Interstate 5 at Vancouver, turn east on Highway 14 and drive 66 miles. Turn north on Highway 141, drive 15.5 miles to Forest Service Road 2400 (5.5 miles south of the town of Trout Lake). Turn northwest and drive 5.5 miles to campground. Stay left as entering campground.
