Description

Located approximately 24 miles south of Estes Park, Colorado, and the Rocky Mountain National Park. Campground is located adjacent to the Middle Saint Vrain Creek and near the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway. Situated in a generally flat, mixed conifer and aspen forest. Restroom facilities are provided. Nearest showers are 12 miles away at Meeker Lodge. Popular activities include fishing, hiking and bicycling on the highway and forest trails nearby. Stables are 150 yards east at the Peaceful Valley Lodge. Full services are available at Estes Park. Allenspark, nine miles north, has phone, restaurant, groceries and a post office. The Indian Peaks Wilderness is 4 miles from the west end of the campground. Firewood is for sale at the campground. Tent pads are limited to 8' x 10' tents.
