PARKER CREEK (AR), AR

Description

Parker Creek Campground is located on Lake Greeson. The lake is approximately 12 miles long with 7260 surface acres of water for fishing, skiing, boating, and other water sports. Bald Eagles are an attraction for visitors each winter. Trout fishing is available year-round just 3 miles east of the campground in the Little Missouri River below Narrows Dam. In the campground, there is the Cinnabar Mine Nature Trail for naturalists and birders to enjoy. The campground offers 57 campsites, 49 with electric hook-ups. Other amenities include a dump station, hot showers, a boat ramp, a playground, and a swimming beach. This campground has first-come, first-served sites.

Alerts and Important Information

  • Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. 2 nights minimum on weekends. 3 nights minimum on holidays. There is no water/sewer site hook-ups at this campground. Parker Creek is open for camping from 1 March through 31 October. Camping fees are $13 and $15 for electrical sites and $10 for non-electrical sites. Non-Reservable Campsites are available for Walk-In Campers during the reservation season which is 05 May -30 September on a first come - first serve basis. Camping fees are $13 - $15 for electrical sites and $10 for non-electrical sites. From 01 November through 30 November all electrical sites are $10 per night. Shower and restroom facilities will remain open until December 01. Off-Road Recreational Vehicles (ORV) are prohibited in recreational areas, unless loaded on a trailer or in a vehicle. Loading and unloading of ORV(s) is allowed in designated areas only.

    From Texarkana, AR. East on I-30 to Prescott, AR. North on AR Hwy 19, 30 miles to Murfreesboro, AR. North on AR Hwy 19 six miles to Narrows Dam. State Maintenance of Hwy 19 ends at the bridge crossing the Little Missouri River. Continue to travel on approximately 3 miles to the Parker Creek Campground.
