PARADISE IN OREGON (OR), OR

Description

Located sixty miles east of the town of Eugene, Oregon. Elevation 1,500 feet. Restrooms and boat ramp are provided. Campground is situated along the McKenzie River in old growth Douglas fir trees. Popular activities include fishing, hiking, picnicking, mountain biking and sight-seeing. The campground is located about 5 miles east of one of the US 100 best public golf courses, Tokatee Golf Course (Hwy 126). It is also near restaurants and stores and the McKenzie Bridge USFS ranger station. Water is available at this campground. Reservations must be made at least 7 days prior to your arrival date. Bring confirmation letter to the campground. Do not leave home without it. This campground has reservable sites and first come first serve sites. Reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance.
This campground requires a minimum stay of 2 nights on weekends and 3 nights on holidays.
Site fee includes payment for the site and one vehicle. Any additional vehicles will be charged a fee of $9.00 at the campground. Maximum # of vehicles are site dependant. Extra vehicles must fit within the campsites designated parking areas. Parking spurs may not be perfectly level.
This campground is normally known as just Paradise.
Bring confirmation letter to the campground. Do not leave home without it. Pets are allowed but need to be restrained. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 6 am. No discharge of FIREARMS OR FIREWORKS. NO CHAINSAWS. Water is available at this campground. Golden Age/Golden Access - Senior Pass/Senior Access cards receive price for camping site. This campground has reservable sites and first come first serve sites. Hoodoo does not reserve non-reservable sites that are for upon arrival. From Eugene, Oregon, take I-105 east to McKenzie Highway 126 for 55 miles, to McKenzie Bridge. Campground is located on the left side of Highway, 5 miles beyond McKenzie Bridge. From Portland take I-5 south to Salem. Take Exit 253 East -Hwy 22/Stayton/Detriot Lake - turn left (east) at light. Travel approx 78 mi to Hwy 20/126/22 junction. Turn right at sign for Springfield/ Eugene for Hwy 126/20 south. Travel 3 miles to Hwy 20/126 split. Turn left onto Hwy 126. Travel approx 20 mi to campground entrance -- right turn. From Albany/Lebanon travel Hwy 20 to junction with Hwy 126. Take a left onto Hwy 126. Travel approx 20 mi to campground entrance -- right turn.
