As the nation's largest federal provider of outdoor and water-based recreation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites you and your family to have a safe and enjoyable visit to one of the Corps' more than 400 lakes and more than 2,400 recreation sites nationwide. During your visit to these sites or the thousands of other federal lands and waters, we encourage you and your loved ones to always wear a properly fitted life jacket when boating or playing on or near the water. We need your help to reduce the number of water-related injuries and deaths. Visitor safety is the Corps' number one priority. We actively promote water and boater safety and education programs. Drain all water from equipment - Discard live bait before leaving - To kill Zebra Mussels, dry equipment for five days or wash with high pressure hot water OUTLET PARK (MO), MODescriptionThe clear water of Pomme de Terre Lake and the rolling Ozark hills provide an excellent setting for camping, picnicking, swimming, fishing, hunting or almost any outdoor recreational activity. Pomme de Terre Lake, with 7,790 surface acres & 113 miles of shoreline, is well known for its excellent fishing combined with the panoramic scenery.The Outlet Park is located below the Pomme de Terre Dam on the Pomme de Terre River. The Park has 28 campsites; 14 electric/water and 14 non-electric. Additional amenities include showers, a boat ramp, group camp, picnic shelter, multipurpose court, playground, and flush toilet. Alerts and Important InformationOutlet Park is open year round, however, amenities are only available April 16-Oct. 15. Campsite fees are; $10-$14/night and $30/night for the group camp. The picnic shelter is available for $20/day. The Harbor Marina is located across the road and on the lake. It has bait, fuel, boating supplies, a restaurant, and boat launch ramp available.Getting There:Outlet Park (MO)RT 2 BOX 2160 Hermitage MO 65668 GPS Info. (Latitude, Longitude): 37.90278, -93.32917 From Springfield, MO, take US 65 Highway North to Preston MD. Take 54 Highway west to Hermitage. Go south from Hermitage on 254/64 Highway about 4 miles to Carson Corner. Turn west on 254 toward Pomme de Terre Dam. Cross the dam and turn north on the paved road at far end of the dam.
