ONION VALLEY (CA), CA

Description

Located in the eastern Sierra, thirteen miles west of the town of Independence, California, near Kearsarge Pass, Robinson Lake, and Golden Trout Lakes Trailheads. Elevation is 9,200 feet. Restrooms are provided. Firewood is for sale on-site. Trailers are not recommended. Tent Trailers are OK. Some sites are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. Although there is currently no bear activity you should still store your food properly. Use food storage lockers. Do not leave food in car! A fee of $7 for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground.
